“Our guide, Dennis, was very personable and explained a lot about Nice and the region which was interesting. He made sure we were all comfortable. He was good at communicating the schedule to us and asked what the group prefers do to, if we want to shorten one stop so we can have longer time at another stop. It was a very enjoyable day. I loved seeing the 2 cute villages, and I loved swimming in St Croix afterwards (calm waters, perfect temperature). We saw mountain climbers at the Gorge - yikes. Perfect weather. The lavedar is already blooming. I couldn't have asked for more.”

“Winding through mountains in a Mercedes sprinter van on a shared tour was never going to be completely smooth… But the squeaking, worn-down shocks on the van should have served as compelling evidence that the other reviews mentioning the poor driving performance of the tour guide were indeed accurate. But we don’t get car sick easily so “no big deal”, we told ourselves. We endured as the guide used bus lanes and highway entrance ramps to bypass heavy or backed-up traffic. The only thing negative was that Viator said that bottled water was included but the tour guide said it wasn’t included by his company. However, he did give us water out of his on stash.
